Catholic College Sale deputy principal Anthony Robbins has been honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Marist Education Award.

The award was presented by Dr Frank Malloy, National Director of Marist Schools Australia, during the Marist Schools Australia annual mass and dinner.

Mr Robbins’ journey through Marist education spans more than 35 years. It began with his role as senior school captain at Catholic College Sale and has evolved into a career of profound impact. From teacher to house leader and now deputy principal of learning and wellbeing, Mr Robbins has consistently exemplified the Marist values of humility, simplicity and presence.

CCS principal Brett Van Berkel said Mr Robbins was the heartbeat of the Marist spirit at the college.

“Anthony’s influence reaches across all aspects of college life, from the classroom and sporting field to the arts and wellbeing initiatives,” he said.

“His leadership has been characterised by a servanthood and a profound commitment to cultivating a culture of family spirit.”

Beyond the school gates, Mr Robbins’ dedication continues. As a long-serving Marist cricket coach and participant in the 2024 Marist Pilgrimage, he has deepened his commitment to faith and service. His quiet strength and enduring presence continue to inspire others.

The award recognised not only Mr Robbins’ professional excellence but also his personal embodiment of the Marist charism. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of educators and students.

The entire CCS community extended its heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Anthony, whose life of service, they said, stood as a shining example of what it meant to lead with faith, compassion and purpose.
