THROUGHOUT November, beards and moustaches have been growing at Guthridge Primary School, Sale at least among the male staff.
To show their support for the Movember Foundation, students and other staff wore fake moustaches last Thursday and took along gold coins to support Movember.
The Movember community has raised $580 million to date and funded more than 800 programs in 21 countries.
This work is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.
Guthridge Primary School principal Sue Burnett said she was impressed by efforts from staff and students.
“Once again we have had a wonderful response from our school community, which recognises the very important work of the Movember Foundation,” she said.
