Accident at Rosedale roundabout

A 48-YEAR-old Traralgon man has received a penalty notice for failing to give way following a two vehicle collision at the Princes Highway, Lyons St roundabout in Rosedale on Thursday morning.

Police said the Traralgon man, driving a semi-trailer, collided with an oncoming small tray truck, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the tray truck, a 63-year-old Stratford man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 57-YEAR-old Berwick man was taken to Bairnsdale hospital with minor injuries following a single vehicle accident in Dargo on Friday.

Police said the motorcyclist was travelling south along the Bairnsdale Dargo Road in Dargo when he lost control on a bend and collided with the left hand embankment.

Police said the man was driving an unfamiliar motorcycle on unfamiliar roads.
