AN ice bucket challenge with a twist took place last Friday in Maffra.
The ‘bucket’ was a dunking machine filled with iced water, the event raising about $10,000 to help fund research into Motor Neurone Disease.
The event was hosted by Hico Herd Improvement, also recognising work colleague Mike Larcombe, who worked for the organisation for more than 25 years, and is living with the disease.
Everything for the event was donated, including sausages for a barbecue, ice for the dunking machine and professional photos.
All money raised will go to Motor Neurone Disease, Victoria.
