GLASSES of bubbly were raised to toast Maffra Cancer Council Unit’s 30th birthday on Wednesday.
Special guest Melbourne Cancer Council volunteer group leader Stephanie Hargreaves congratulated the Maffra unit for 30 years of support for Cancer Council.
Maffra unit leader Deidre Relph was thrilled with the number of locals who turned out to show their support.
She estimated 101 people attended the birthday celebrations, held at Duart Homestead in Maffra.
Ms Relph said it was a fantastic opportunity to pay tribute to Cancer Council unit members for the hard work they do.
Following lunch, students from Maffra Primary School performed for the group.
