ST Mary’s Primary School Sale Twilight Carnivale has been hailed another success.
It’s thought a crowd of more 600 flocked to the local school for its annual fundraiser on Friday evening.
This year the event included a makers market, a chance to get up close and personal with rare animals and reptiles, a vintage car display and new amusements including the Cha Cha.
Parents and Friends Committee member Kurt Best attributed this year’s great event to good weather and strong community spirit.
“Each year we start with a plan to create a fun, affordable, family friendly, good old fashioned fete to bring the community together,” Mr Best said.
“Locals never fail to surprise us with their support and this event simply wouldn’t be the same without them.
“While it’s a lot of work for a small school, the children’s excitement and beaming faces, make it all worthwhile, in fact it’s our measure of success.”
