What does stage three mean?

SALE Business and Tourism Association president Leanne Pearce said more than ever, it was important people shopped local.

“So many of our amazing businesses are adapting to roll with the punches and are still open with different options available,” she said.

“Some of our retailers have products available on an online store or via their social media, eateries are offering takeaway and meals to heat and eat at home.

“Some services are available by appointment only or over the phone and Skype meetings.”

Ms Pearce said there were still so many ways people could support local businesses and show them some love.

“Even just jumping online and doing a positive review or sending a business a message of support on Facebook can help show your support,” she said.

“Always remember, there is no need to panic buy and always be kind.

“Our hearts go out to those businesses having to close for a second time.

“Stay strong, stay safe, we are in this together.”
