Transport needs analysed

COMPLETING the duplication of the Princes Highway between Sale and Traralgon is among the priorities to fix Victoria’s transport growing pains.

A new report released by the RACV has called for an injection of $4.6 billion in regional Victoria over the decade to address critical road and public transport deficiencies, which are limiting the travel opportunities for regional communities and putting the brakes on economic development.

According to the Regional Growing Pains report, Latrobe City needs $469 million to address its road and public transport problems.
