POLICE used capsicum spray to subdue an intoxicated 18-year-old Sale man after he allegedly threatened police and kicked a police vehicle, about 9.30pm Friday night.
Sale uniform police and Wellington Highway Patrol were called to break up an argument in York St, Sale, following which the 18-year-old kicked a police vehicle and fled on foot.
Police said they followed the man and arrested him after he threatened officers.
The man will be charged with being drunk in a public place and assaulting police.
A 19-YEAR-old Sale man was arrested after he allegedly repeatedly punched a 53-year-old Sale man in the face at the Kazbah Lounge, Sale, about 1am Saturday morning.
Police said the older male was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose.
The 19-year-old man will be charged at a later date.
