Charges after Lakes affray

TWO men will face court following an affray in Lakes Entrance on Wednesday.

The incident unfolded around 4pm when a number of people began fighting in a supermarket car park.

Police responded and several people were arrested at the scene.

A 38-year-old Lakes Entrance man has been charged with affray and two counts of unlawful assault.

The other man, a 27-year-old from Lake Tyers, has been charged with affray, recklessly causing injury, assault with a weapon, unlawful assault, theft, and possessing a controlled weapon.

Both men have been bailed to appear at Bairnsdale Magistrates’ Court on December 10.
