THE 151st Sale and District Agricultural Show will be in full swing on Friday at the Sale Showgrounds.
There will be loads of entertainment taking place in the Kids Zone today, including Toots the Clown and the new Space Dome exhibit, containing robots, space junk and an observatory.
The National Carrot Cake contest will be a highlight, with judging for primary and secondary school students beginning this morning and professional and open sections to be judged from 1.30pm.
The spectacular night carnival will begin at 6pm, with rides, sideshows, a human truck pull, Sammy Xuereb’s Monster Trucks and the fireworks display from 9pm.
Sale and District Agricultural Show president Pauline Lay urged people to go along and enjoy a great day and night.
“There’s rides and sideshows and lots of free activities for the families,” she said.
“The Taste Gippsland pavilion will be a highlight, showcasing produce from the local area, as well as the carrot cake contest.
