Nambrok collision

MAFFRA police are investigating a collision that occurred in Nambrok on Monday night about 9.30pm.

An 18-year-old male driving a utility towing a trailer collided with a couple in their 50s travelling in a Hyundai sedan on the Nambrok Hall Rd at Nambrok.

The female passenger received minor injuries and her husband received leg, arm and possible internal injuries.

He was trapped in the vehicle for about 40 minutes before being airlifted to hospital.

Police said the cause of the crash was believed to be fatigue or distraction related.

The 18-year-old male was not injured and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date for careless driving charges.

All three were from the Nambrok area.
