TRAING services were disrupted and road traffic diverted on Tuesday when a truck became wedged under the rail bridge on the Stratford-Maffra Rd.
Crews brought in a crane to free a beam the truck was carrying, which had become lodged under the bridge.
The bridge has a clearance height of 4.3 metres.
Police blocked the area to traffic, with motorists forced to take a long detour for most of the afternoon, with the road re-opened to traffic about 4pm.
Train services to and from Bairnsdale were replaced with road coaches, with train services resuming after a safety inspection had been carried out.
