GIPPSLAND MPs Tim Bull and Russell Northe have both been handed positions in the shadow cabinet.
Mr Bull, the Gippsland East MLA, has been appointed to five shadow ministries: disability, mental health, senior Victorians, housing, and racing.
First elected to parliament at the 2010 election, Mr Bull was minister for local government and Aboriginal affairs this year until the Liberal-National Coalition lost the recent election.
Mr Northe, who narrowly retained his place in parliament as Morwell MLA, is the shadow minister for consumer affairs, and liquor and gaming regulation. Mr Northe was this year minister for small business, and energy and resources.
The Corrections Minister before the election defeat, Eastern Victoria MLC Edward O’Donohue retains that portfolio in opposition, and has also been handed police and community safety.
Mr O’Donohue has also been liquor and gaming regulation, and crime prevention minister.
