Dargo fire all clear

Fire activity has subsided 28 kilometres north-west of Dargo.

The bushfire has been classed as safe, however smoke may still be visible from nearby communities and roads.

An “all clear” advice message was issued on Friday.

The fire is thought to have been started by a lightning strike three weeks ago.

Fire activity in the area 24km east-north-east of Orbost has also subsided.

That bushfire has also been declared safe.
