POLICE have been disappointed by the behaviour of some drivers around Maffra and Stratford.
On Friday afternoon Maffra police intercepted a probationary driver in Maffra after a complaint by a member of the public.
The driver was taken to the Maffra police station where he is alleged to have recorded an alcohol concentration of 0.071.
His licence was immediately suspended and he was disqualified from driving for six months. He was also issued with infringement notices for breaching a condition of his licence and having an unrestrained passenger.
On Friday night Stratford police intercepted a driver after he was seen leaving licenced premises. He was taken to Maffra police station where he allegedly recorded an alcohol concentration of 0.139.
His licence was immediately suspended and he was disqualified from driving for 13 months.
Other drivers were issued with infringement notices for failing to wear seat belts, speeding and using unregistered vehicles.
STRATFORD police are seeking assistance with information about a number of burglaries commited at the Welsford St, Stratford basketball stadium.
Offenders have gained entry to the premises on four occasions in the past 12 months, including twice in the past two weeks.
