Traralgon man charged with murder

A TRARALGON man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a body in a disused mine in north-eastern Victoria.

The remains of a 56-year-old Mooroopna man were located in the mine at Whroo, near Shepparton, on Saturday, March 12.

A 26-year-old Traralgon man was last week charged with murder and, on Monday morning, detectives charged a 30-year-old Tongala woman with accessory after the fact to murder. After facing separate out of sessions hearings, both have been remanded to appear at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
