SALE-Heyfield Rd has been reopened at the Princes Highway ahead of schedule.
The road had been closed to traffic to allow for works to construct a roundabout as part of the duplication of the highway.
The temporary closure allowed for strengthening of the existing highway and construction of the remainder of the roundabout to continue.
When completed, the Fulham section will include the new roundabout at the intersection of Sale-Heyfield Rd and Princes Highway and an upgrade at the intersection of Polocrosse Lane to include a wide median treatment for turning traffic.
Meanwhile, VicRoads will undertake minor road repair works on the Princes Highway between Stammers and Minniedale Rds, Traralgon East over the next two weeks.
The works will involve asphalt patching on both carriageways and as a result there may be some minor delays while the road is down to one lane.
Motorists have been asked to allow extra travel time on their journey.
Road works are expected to be completed within one to two days, weather permitting.
