WELLINGTON Highway Patrol nabbed a probationary driver over the limit and speeding in Stratford on Saturday night.
Members came across the erratic driver along the Princes Highway, when they were out on patrol following up a report that a cow was on the road, between Stratford and Munro.
The 20-year-old P2 probationary driver was allegedly detected travelling 128 kilometres per hour in a 100kph zone before he was intercepted.
