POLICE intercepted an allegedly drug-affected driver on the Princes Highway near Kilmany on Saturday.
The man, who was allegedly driving at 99kmh in a 60kmh zone, had an unconscious passenger.
Police said people had reported an erratic driver between Flynn and Kilmany, who had hit roadside barriers.
The man was charged with a number of offences and will face court soon.
Police are looking for witnesses, and anyone who saw a white Subaru station wagon on the highway about 2.30pm is encouraged to phone Wellington Highway Patrol on 5142 2200, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
HOMICIDE Squad detectives charged a man following a fatal hit-run in Traralgon on Tuesday night.
A 46-year-old Traralgon woman was struck by a vehicle on a private property on Airfield Rd shortly before 8.30pm.
The woman was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 53-year-old Traralgon man was arrested at a nearby property shortly after the incident.
He was subsequently charged with one count of murder and appeared at the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning.
