IN response to the current restrictions in place to slow the spread of COVID-19, state Planning Minister Richard Wynne has decided to issue amended procedures and requirements relating to the exhibition of the Fingerboards Project Environmental Effects Statement and the conduct of the inquiry, which the minister intends to appoint.
The minister made the amendments under section 8B(5) of the Environment Effects Act 1978.
A copy of the amended procedures and requirements can be found online.
Kalbar said it would continue to work closely with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning on EES arrangements and would issue details on how it would meet the minister’s amended procedures and requirements before EES exhibition.
Before exhibition, Kalbar said it would also provide an overview of the EES exhibition process, the EES structure, and how to make submissions, and provide additional opportunities for people to ask questions about the EES and the exhibition process.
