GROWING investment, advocating for key infrastructure projects, promoting the region’s desirability as a place to live with opportunities while continuing to grow Gippsland’s leadership are all strategic priorities set out in the Committee for Gippsland’s 2021-2024 Strategic Plan launched in Traralgon last Friday.
Committee for Gippsland chairman Alex Aeschlimann launched the plan, and said it was an important document outlining the organisation’s priorities and opportunities for Gippsland during the next three years.
“The past 18 months has seen significant policy changes, droughts and bushfires and a global pandemic create major disruption for businesses and community, and our strategic plan will play an important role in advocating for our region’s future,” he said.
