Fatal collision on Princes Highway at Village Avenue

The Princes Highway is closed eastbound at Village Avenue due to a serious vehicle collision.

Early this morning, June 21, a male pedestrian was struck by a bus. Emergency services responded to the incident on the Princes Highway between Morwell and Traralgon just after 1:30 am.

The male, who is yet to be identified, sadly died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and sustained no injuries.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal collision in Traralgon this morning.

All emergency services are in attendance, and motorists travelling in the area are advised to allow extra time and follow directions issued.
