TINAMBA motocross star Cody Dyce is this week taking on the best young motocross riders in the country as he competes in the Australian Junior Motocross Championships at Appin, New South Wales.
Cody, 14, is competing in the 200cc-250cc and 128cc-150cc classes on a track he’s raced on while competing in the MX Nationals in the 125cc Junior Cup, where he finished third overall.
“The track suits my riding style which should help,” Cody said. “It’s flowing. It’s got good ruts and jumps too.”
Cody won the A grade 125cc class in the state junior motocross championships and finished second in the A grade 250cc class. He competed at the same event in Horsham last year, finishing second overall in the 85cc class.
“I’m definitely hoping to win it on both bikes,” Cody said.
