Finals action on court

ROSEDALE’S bid for a third successive North Gippsland A grade netball premiership takes it to Yarram on Saturday.

The Blues will meet Heyfield in the qualifying final. The Kangaroos last won the flag in 2013.

The teams have split their two meetings this season, with the home side victorious.

Saturday’s winner will take on minor premier Woodside in the second semi-final, the loser to take part in the knock-out first semi-final.

Churchill and Cowwarr will contest the elimination final on Sunday at Glengarry. The Saints won both their meetings this season.

Last weekend, Woodside ensured its status as premiership favourite with a 43-37 win against second-placed Rosedale.

Sixth and seventh-placed Glengarry and Yarram played out a 46-46 draw, Cowwarr defeated Sale City 52-34, Heyfield defeated Traralgon-Tyers United 49-27 and Churchill cruised by Gormandale, 71-23.
