Swans still alive

STRATFORD kept its East Gippsland netball finals hopes alive with a 51-35 win over Boisdale-Briagolong on Saturday.

The Swans are still eight points outside the top four, with three rounds remaining.

Top side Wy Yung defeated second-placed Lucknow 72-29.

Lindenow remains in third place after defeating Lakes Entrance 46-41.

Orbost-Snowy Rovers moved above Lakes into fourth place after defeating Paynesville 54-28.

ROSEDALE defeated Heyfield 44-39 during the second weekend of the North Gippsland netbal split round.

The Blues look their ladder lead back to 14 points, while the Kangaroos are six points behind fifth-placed Traralgon-Tyers United, who won at Gormandale 58-42.
