Down to the final four

PLACES in the Sale-Maffra cricket grand final will be up for grabs this weekend, when semi-finals are played.

Minor premier Collegians will host a Boisdale-Briagolong side looking to continue its fairy tale run, while Sale will head to Bundalaguah.

Of the four finalists, only Boisdale-Briagolong is yet to win a first grade premiership.

Collegians is looking for a hat-trick of premierships, while Bundalaguah’s most recent success came in 2015.

Sale last tasted premiership success in 1991, the end of its four-year reign at the top.
