LOGGING at current rates can at most continue for another three years, and then there will be no logs left.
VicForests is taking too many trees, small and large, and leaving too little for the future.
Our area of Alexandra, Eildon and Marysville get many more jobs from farming and tourism than logging.
The jobs in Heyfield mill cannot be sustained.
The Labor government needs to bite the bullet and pay compensation to the workers in the mill.
