AFTER 14 years as Sale College director, Craig Felstead is leaving to take up a senior education improvement leader position with the Education Department working with schools in outer Gippsland and Wellington Shire.
Part of the government’s education state initiative includes an increase in the support to schools and principals focused on school improvement.
Mr Felstead said he was excited about his new role and looked forward to working closely with schools to maximise the learning outcomes.
“It has been a privilege working at Sale College and I know I am leaving the school’s leaders and teachers with a strong capacity to continue the outstanding work that makes Sale College such a great school,” he said.
“I would like to thank the wider school community for their support during my time at the school.”
Brendan Staple has been appointed acting college director for term one while the recruitment and selection process occurs.
