Five ways to stop overheating when you sleep

Five ways to stop overheating (outside of using air con)

*Use a mattress cooler, such as Chilipad – like a heated blanket, but cools instead of heats

*Sleep on sheets with a natural fibre, such as bamboo, linen or cotton

*Again, on the note of sheets, ensure they are 200-400 thread count

*Avoid thermogenic activities in the two hours before bed, such as vigorous exercise or eating spicy food

*If you are overweight, aim to lose it – this can reduce excessive sweating
