A 51-YEAR-old man was trapped in his vehicle for more than an hour following a crash on the Rosedale-Longford Rd late Wednesday morning.
The driver was towing a loaded trailer which began swaying before jackknifing into the car.
The car flipped and landed on a fence, trapping the driver.
Emergency services freed the man, who was taken to Latrobe Hospital.
SALE police are investigating the destruction of locks at two Sale houses, with damage estimated at more than $550.
The locks to the houses and sheds on properties at 47 and 49 Macarthur St (opposite Bunnings) were damaged when an offender inserted glue into them.
Police said the damage occurred sometime between about 3.30pm Sunday and 1.30pm Monday.

A MOTORCYCLE rider who was disqualified from driving was nabbed after pulling into the driveway of a Rose St, Heyfield house where police were parked.
The 33-year-old Heyfield man is facing charges including riding while disqualified, as well as riding an unregistered and unroadworthy motorcycle.
Heyfield police said they would have zero tolerance for disqualified drivers who continued to drive.
