LATROBE Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man for alleged child grooming offences.
The arrest forms part of an investigation earlier this year into cyber bullying at a local high school.
It is alleged the offender was using a fictitious Facebook account.
A search warrant was executed at the man’s address and a number of items seized.
The 21-year-old Morwell man has been charged with 14 counts of using a carriage service to groom a person under 16 years for sexual activity.
It is alleged the offender used electronic devices to communicate with three victims aged between 12 and 14.
He will face Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
