Mural beautifying Sale’s train station

A NEW mural for Sale’s train station has been unveiled as part of the Stationeers’ project to beautify the entrance to Sale.

Year 10 students from Sale College worked together to create the painting, with pairs assigned sections of the mural to complete, before everything was put together to form the larger picture.

Sale College art co-ordinator Brigitte Kristic said the students should be proud of their efforts and staff were impressed with how well they worked together.

Other iconic scenes from the Sale area will be prepared in the New Year by Catholic College Sale, Gippsland Grammar and Maffra Secondary College, which will also be displayed at the station.

The Stationeers welcome volunteers. People who would like to help beautify Sale’s railway station precinct can phone Gillian Gregory on 5144 5954 or Elaine McLeod on 5144 3781.
