A SALE driver’s behaviour has disappointed Wellington Highway Patrol members who intercepted him in Sale on Friday.
Police were patrolling Gibsons Rd when they noticed a driver who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
The 2001 Holden Commodore station wagon was intercepted and the 23-year-old man spoken to.
Checks were done on the driver and police discovered his probationary driver’s licence was suspended.
The station wagon was impounded, with towing costs of $895 and the Sale man was expected to be charged on summons for driving while suspended and failing to wear a seat belt.
