ROSEDALE’S Willow Park camping reserve will soon have a toilet, after the Rosedale Chamber of Commerce applied to Wellington Shire for building approval.
The short stay caravan and recreational vehicle park, which attracts hundreds of tourists every year, has other facilities but no toilets. The project has received in principle approval, pending building plans.
Chamber representative Sparie Nassiokos said the announcement had been a long time coming.
“We’ve been wanting to do it for a while,” she said.
“It’s a really important project… people camping there spend money in town, they utilise the town as well.”
She said the project was fully funded by the chamber, and they were looking forward to work commencing.
