SEASPRAY has reduced the gap to top side Sale X Factor to one point after round seven of Wellington tennis.
Seaspray dominated against the fourth-placed Maffra Kings, winning 72 games to 29 and all nine sets.
The closest sets, two of them, were won by Seaspray 8-5.
SALE X Factor also had a comfortable win, defeating bottom side the Maffra Queens 71-35, eight sets to one.
In the set the Queens won, Jenny Luke and Sheryl McMillan had to work hard for it, claiming victory 9-7 against Carmel Elliott and Bree Kaandorp.
Kaandorp and Holly Howes combined to win a tight set against McMillan and Emma Nowak, 8-6.
Sale’s Nathan Wallace and Taylor Stephenson defeated Duncan Runciman and Liam Seymour without conceding a game.
THE Maffra Aces consolidated third place on the table with a 57-55 win over Sale Big Brother.
The Aces won five of the nine sets in the tight contest.
Natalie Allman and Jamie Kemp starred for the Aces, each winning three sets.
