Sharks circle Leongatha

AT the bottom of the Gippsland Cricket League table, Sale-Maffra will host Leongatha at Stephenson Park this Sunday.

Leongatha enjoyed a strong win over Traralgon in round three with English import Christian Siverstone, Daniel Salmon and Kit Rothier all doing well with the bat.

Tim Wightman will once again lead the attack with the ball.

Sale-Maffra has plenty of talent of its own with players like Ben Saxon, Jack Tatterson, Josh Rurahwe, Brett Lanigan, and Brad Scott.

In other senior matches, Bairnsdale will host Warragul in a clash between the top two sides.

Victory for Bairnsdale will ensure it a place in the final.

Traralgon could regain second place with victory over Central Gippsland, which has only had one win this season.

Top side Bairnsdale needs a win a make sure of a berth in the final.

A PLACE in the under 16 final will be the prize when Sale-Maffra takes on Bairnsdale at Lakes Entrance.
