MORE than 600 local primary school students rubbed shoulders with AFL heroes during a superclinic featuring Richmond players at Sale Oval on Tuesday.
Club stars including Chris Newman and Bachar Houli attended the clinic, with participants joining a range of kicking, handballing, marking and general skills activities.
Newman and Chris Knights conducted a question and answer session, while players also signed autographs.
Catholic College Sale students assisted in the delivery of the program.
The Sale superclinic was part of Richmond’s two-day AFL Community Camp visit to east Gippsland.
Following the superclinic, the Tigers travelled further east for the remainder of the camp, including an official function hosted by AFL East Gippsland in Lakes Entrance.
