Region’s richest sprint this Sunday

GIPPSLAND’S richest sprint horse race takes place at Greenwattle Racecourse this Sunday.

Always attracting a good field of short coursers, the $80,000 Sale Quality again has attracted an excellent field.

Nick Hall is riding in great form after his enforced lay off, so he and Michael Dee are good riders to follow this week.

Well-bred first starter Big Knight, who is by Big Brown, is facing a 1400 metre assignment for the Chris Waller stable and will be ridden by Tom Sadler. A big ask, but the Big Brown progeny are racing well.

Sunday’s weather is set to be fine, paving the way for a good day at the races.
