FORMER Sale player Josh Dunkley kicked a goal during his AFL debut for the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.
Dunkley’s goal was one of seven unanswered majors the Bulldogs kicked during the first quarter on their way to a 65-point win at Etihad Stadium.
Dunkley, selected a pick 25 in last year’s draft, finished his debut match with 15 disposals.
“An amazing feeling, getting out there for the first time. To get the win, makes it even better,” Dunkley told the Bulldogs’ website after the game.
“To get a goal early was massive, and got me on the right foot.”
