ROUND one winners Rosedale-Kilmany and Collegians will meet during the second week of Sale-Maffra cricket.

RK will on Saturday play its first home game of the season after an away victory against Sale at the weekend. Good bowling was followed by a solid effort with the bat.

A good performance against the Swans should give the Warriors confidence ahead of their match against the two-time reigning premier.

Collegians passed Boisdale-Briagolong’s challenging target of 202 with six wickets in hand. The successful chase was based around Zac Hurley’s 74.

The RK bowlers could prove a test for the College batsmen.

ON top of the ladder after its win at Maffra, Bundalaguah will host Sale.

The Bulls strengthened line-up defeated Maffra by 25 runs. The Bulls put together some good partnerships before inhibiting the Eagles’ ability to do the same.

The Swans will look to improve on their disappointing showing with the bat against Rosedale-Kilmany, when they were restricted to 8-124.

MAFFRA’S search for a maiden win will take it to Stratford.

In reply Bundalaguah’s 5-196, the Eagles’ top order got starts, but couldn’t convert that into a big score.

Stratford is coming off a big win over Longford. Jack Rietschel took four wickets to help bowl the Lizards out for 81, while his score of 106 was the only one above 12 in the Redbacks’ total of 160.

The Redbacks are likely to face a tougher test against the Eagles on Saturday.

BOISDALE-BRIAGOLONG and Longford will look to open their accounts on Saturday.

Both lost their opening matches, but Boisdale-Briagolong put in a commendable effort to push Collegians. Toby Leeds’ unbeaten 94 helped the Saints score 8-201, but they were only able to claim four College wickets.

The Lizards were bowled out for 81, a score Stratford passed three wickets down. Jack Rietschel’s century aside, there were positive signs with the ball for the Lizards, with the rest of the Redbacks scoring 43 in total.
