The 15 and under semi-finals will be played on Monday night, with the two Sale teams clashing, and Bairnsdale taking on Gippsland Red.
THE round robin matches finished last Friday night.
Mid Gippsland defeated Churchill-Traralgon 62-34 in the open division. A superb start from Mid Gippsland set the scene, with Churchill-Traralgon no match for its strength.
At the Gippsland Regional Sports Complex, Bairnsdale defeated Sale 48-45.
IN the 17 and under division, Bairnsdale outclassed Sale 50-34 at the GRSC.
Gippsland completed an unbeaten run through the rounds, defeating North Gippsland 69-41.
North Gippsland continued to force the ball long to players who couldn’t find front position anywhere down the court with the strength and speed of Gippsland mid courter Chloe Radford having the most impact as she constantly intercepted poor passes from the opposition.
While North Gippsland kept its opposition within reach for the first three quarters, Gippsland couldn’t be stopped in the final quarter.
