MONASH defeated Trafalgar Victory 3-0, but it took well into the second half for the Wolves to shake off a determined home side.

After a score-less first half, it was left to Jace Paulett to open Monash’s score at 78 minutes.

ON Anzac Day, Fortuna defeated Churchill United 4-0.

Churchill was not without its moments as the Rams tried to get on the board, but a tight and steady Lions defence stopped them.

After the break Fortuna, got its act together, as the Lions scored again at 67 minutes from Matt Coward.

Churchill tried but was dispossessed many times, as Fortuna fought hard to control the match.

Two more goals by Fortuna from Scott for a brace at 70 minutes and Tak Gwara at 80 minutes buried the Rams.

THE Traralgon derby between Olympians and City has been postponed to July 28.
