Thursday racing at Greenwattle

SALE Turf Club will host a nine-race program on Thursday, beginning at 1pm.

The Greenwattle track was rated “good four” on Wednesday.

Entered in the opening race, the three-year-old maiden plate over 1206 metres, Jeehaan finished third over 1106m in her only start, while Sahara Song won her only race at Echuca in May before a 20-week spell.

Wegobam has placed in both her runs is worth a consideration in race two, the 1006m maiden plate.

Among the fancies for race three, the 1415m maiden plate, are Miss Conduct and Hostile Takeover.

In race four, the 1415m maiden plate, Miss Inbetween coming off back-to-back second placings at Mornington over 1200m, while Unchain My Bike is worth a look following a fourth placing at Pakenham and second at Donald.

In race five, the 1615m maiden plate, Prosecutor is coming off back-to-back third placings over 1400m, including one at Sale last month. Ain’tmpdeeldun came fourth in the Anzac Day Stakes at Flemington.

Imperial Dawn finished second last start at Geelong over 1400m, and is favourite for race six, the benchmark 65 handicap over 1615m. Also entered is Tanaawoi, who won at Geelong over 1400m earlier this month.

In race seven, the fillies and mares benchmark 70 handicap over 1732m, Ocean Miss is in good form, having finished third at Mornington earlier this month, while the distance and standard might suit Heljami.

Race eight, the 1415m class one handicap, features Albukhturi, who in four starts has three placings, including a last start win at Pakenham. A Pinch Of Luck finished second at the same track over 1400m.

In race nine, the 2226m benchmark 64 handicap, Zoffala finished second over 1900m on a soft track at Oakbank this month.
