MIDNIGHT Monarch has claimed a hat-trick of victories for Sale greyhound trainer Chris Tilley.

The dog won a 460 metre mixed grade four and five race on Tuesday night at Warragul.

The $1.50 favourite stormed out of his box and never looked beaten, winning by five lengths in 25.54 seconds. From 17 starts, Midnight Monarch has 12 wins.

Stuart Lee Rose, trained by Sharon-Lee Chignell at Rosedale, came third.

Reverse Outright, trained by Lyn Smith at Nambrok, won a 460m mixed grade six and seven by sixth lengths, following a win in Warragul five days earlier.

Fernando Bull, trained at Maffra by Des Douch, won a 400m grade seven by a neck with a strong finish – claiming a second win from three starts.

Purify Virtuoso also had a big finish to win a 400m mixed grade six and seven for Seaspray trainer John Boreland

Shantelle Rose, trained by Chignell, won a heat of the 460m series for dogs with three to six wins. The dog will be joined in next Tuesday night’s final by She Wiggles, trained by Dawn Johnston at Boisdale, who finished second in another heat.

Johnston began the night successfully, with Lara’s Love winning a 400m maiden In a 400m grade five, Johnston’s Baileys On Ice battled for victory in the straight with What Price Mason, who won by a neck. Rio Hustler came third for Tyllah Cornell at Seaspray.

Annie Rose, trained by Chignell, came second in a 400m mixed grade four and five.

Coming off a win at the track five days earlier, Ignite The Stars finished second in a 400m grade for Alberton West trainer Leanne Burke.

ON Wednesday at The Meadows, Born A Runner finished second in a 600m restricted win race for Munro trainer Robert Cook.

Demolition, trained by Lyn Smith at Nambrok, came third in a heat of the 525m grade five series.

Airly Cleaner finished third in another heat for Sale trainer Kym Russell.

Kilmany trainer Steve Spoljaric was among the placings at Cranbourne.

In separate 311m grade five races, Sunshine Spolly finished second and Spolly Bear third, while Klopp came third in a 311m maiden Ray’s Boy, trained at Nambrok by Gary McMillan, finished second in another 311m maiden, while Brickman came third in a 520m mixed grade four and five for Maffra trainer Des Douch.

MAFFRA trainer Corey Fulford had two dogs place in separate 311m maidens at Cranbourne on Monday, with Criminal Crocket coming second and Light On Tackle third.

Onya Jakit, trained by Andrew Wood at Nambrok, came second in a 311m grade five, while Who’s Spolly finished second in a 311m grade six for Jessica Spoljaric at Kilmany.

THE first of 12 races at Sale on Sunday begins at 5.44pm.

The highlights include the 440m grade five final (race seven, 7.37pm), and heats of the Great Chase (races nine, 10 and 11 from 8.12pm).
